Droid X2 unboxing

IMG_0906

We've talked quite a bit about the Droid X2 here. From leaked specs to dummy units to the official announcement, Motorola's latest iteration of the X line has gotten a lot of press, even before it was available for purchase.

This device has some killer specs to go along with one of my favorite designs. In addition to a 1GHz Tegra 2 processor, the X2 also packs 512MB of RAM and 8GB of storage. It's also got a fantastic screen: a 4.3-inch qHD display with a resolution of 540 x 960. That puts it quite close to Retina Display territory. Actually, it's dangerously close. I can't distinguish a difference between the two.

Anyway, we'll go through all of my thoughts and impressions in the review. For now, let's get to the unboxing.

Opening the box, you'll find your very large Droid sitting atop its accessories. To the left of it, there's a little flap of Droid branding; it serves no other purpose.

What are those aforementioned accessories, you may ask? Why, your wall adapter and microUSB to USB cord, of course! Below them are the incredibly useful startup guides. I just know that you all read them.

Here is everything all together. Pretty standard stuff from an unboxing point of view.

I will definitely follow up with anything you guys would like to see from this device. I'm thinking some games would make for a great feature on the Tegra 2 processor inside here. Let me know if you'd like to see anything else in the comments.
