Huawei Ideos X1 Launched in Portugal as Optimus Stockholm

Huawei Optimus Stockholm has just launched by Chinese handset manufacturer in Portugal.
You may somewhat confuse to hear its name but do not need to worry.
It is Huawei IDEOS X1 that is named as Optimus Stockholm because it is offered by Portuguese carrier Optimus.
You may think that Optimus Stockholm is a new handset of LG Optimus Series while it is not true.
It is a low cost Android phone that will be available for purchase for only €99 without contract.

For your information , this Portuguese carrier has first launched an Android smart phone Optimus Boston manufactured by Gigabyte and just after its success it is going to release Optimus Stockholm. This upcoming gadget is featured with stylish and attractive design. It is running on Froyo platform. We do not have any information whether this handset will enjoy the taste of Gingerbread or not.

The features and Specs of Huawei Optimus Stockholm are quite interesting. It is designed with a small 2.8-inch QVGA capacitive touchscreen that comes with the specs of 240 x 320 resolution and accelerometer. It is powered by a Qualcomm MSM7225 which is clocked at 528 MHz so you will expect the mediocre performance. Other features of this handset are256MB RAM, 512MB ROM, microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB) ,mediocre 3.2-megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS with A-GPS support. For entertainment it brings an FM radio as you get in LG Optimus C Smart phone.
