Manufactured by HTC, of course, the handset offers Sense 3.0 on top of Android 2.3. Netflix is pre-installed on the phone, as well as Swype and Qik mobile video chat. T-Mobile has some pre-installed apps on board like T-Mobile TV and T-Mobile KidZone. The Genius button is back with support from Nuance's Dragon Dictation, to take your verbal commands and Bobsled's Group Text allows you to send out SMS messages to groups of friends.
The 8MP rear camera comes with AF, dual LED flash and offers ClearShot HDR so you can take sharp pictures in bright settings. BurstShot allows you to take a "burst" of photos quickly so you can grab that perfect shot. T-Mobile also says that the rear camera has "Zero shutter lag" allowing you to press the shutter and take a picture instantly. And with a wide f/2.2 aperture lens and a backside illuminated sensor, pictures can be taken under low light conditions. Video can be captured at 1080p.
The T-Mobile myTouch 4G Slide is expected to launch next month in black or kakhi; pricing of the unit was not disclosed.
